Terms and Conditions

The Terms and Conditions (T&S) contains the rights and obligations of users (Customer, You, User) of e-commerce services provided by  Zafferano Ltd,  and is applicable for the websites of  Zafferano: www.hajosekszer.hu, www.vitorlasekszer.hu, www. zafferanojewelry.com, and www.sailingjewellery.com.

1. GENERAL INFORMATION

1.1 This T&S covers any sale and purchase and use of services that you as a user initiate by placing an order to Zafferano Ltd. Purchase is available electronically via  the Internet from  Zafferano Ltd's website, by placing the selected products to the cart and by following through the ordering process to the end.
1.2 Browsing on the site of Zafferano is free, and you are not required to be registered. Registration, however, is required for purchase. Everybody who has registered themselves with valid data and accepts this General Rule of Contract is entitled to purchase in the web shop.
1.3 Product details, photographs and descriptions are the property of Zafferano Ltd. Collecting, saving and storing them is only allowed if prior consent from Zafferano Ltd has been obtained.
1.4 A few minutes after receiving the order, a receipt of order will be sent to the customer by an  automated system, this, however, this does not constitute a contract. The contract comes into being when the receipt of order is followed by a second letter which confirms the order. Prior to the fulfillment of your order, you are free to modify or cancel your order without any consequences. The contract made between the parties during  purchase of goods constitutes a written contract, Zafferano Ltd will file it electronically, and preserve it for five years. A registered user can view this agreement within the retention time in the web shop.
1.5 Delivery time for orders: Because items of jewelry sold by Zafferano Ltd are unique hand-made products, delivery times for orders vary. After each order the Customer will be informed about  the anticipated time of completion of the jewelry  and the date of delivery.
1.6 Prices: The prices shown in the web shop are retail store prices. After the confirmation of the order total amount payable will not change. Even with the greatest care it may occur, however, that, because of technical failure, an incorrect price is displayed in our shop that differs significantly from the market price. In this case, before sending the goods, you will be contacted by e-mail in order to consult with you about your purchase contact. Such orders are not considered valid, and we do not accept damage resulting from them.

REGISTRATION, PRIVACY

2.1 Ordering from Zafferano Ltd shop requires registration. You will need to enter your billing information (name, address), a valid e-mail address and phone number in order to establish the necessary contact. The same e-mail addresses can be registered only once. For the dispatch of your order, a delivery address must also be provided.
2.2 Following registration, ordering goods becomes possible.
2.3 Customer's registration information is stored and preserved in Zafferano Ltd's protected and secure database, and will not be handed over to a third party except for the case when the third party is involved in the fulfillment of your order (e.g. courier).
 But then, the subcontractors are not allowed to use personal information provided by our company for any other purpose  in any way, or to pass it on to further persons. If the customer sends a written request asking for the deletion of their data, Zafferano Ltd will delete them from its database. Use of the data is in accordance with the legislation in force set down in the Data Protection Act.

 2.4 Forgotten Password: Using the "Forgot your Password?" function, you can request your password to be sent to the e-mail address you gave when your registered. In such cases, we recommend that you change your password after logging on.
 2.5 We remind you the password you give at registration should be kept confidential and you should not pass it to an unauthorized party. Zafferano Ltd is not responsible for any damage and fault at delivery resulting from careless handling of your password.
2.6 Zafferano Ltd uses billing and shipping information you provided in any case. It does not perform manual data modification, unless you ask for it in an e-mail notification / request. It is therefore important that your data is accurate. This guarantees accurate delivery and billing. It is also possible to check and/or modify your data during the ordering and registration process

3. PURCHASE TIMETABLE

3.1 Purchase on the website is dependent on registration. There is an opportunity to do this in the entry/registration menu. Clicking on the link for setting up a new account, you should give your email address, password and name. If you want to be informed later about our news and special offers in the form of a newsletter, indicate this using the "newsletter registration" option. After registration at the bottom of the page, we automatically send an email to the email address you give.
3.2 The automatic confirmation email should arrive at the address you gave within a few minutes. If this does not happen, contact us through the "contact" menu entry.
3.3 After you have confirmed your registration you may enter the web shop
3.4 If you wish to make an order, start by clicking on the "JEWELRY PLANNER" menu point. You can then choose what kind of jewelry you would like to make (bracelets, rings, cufflinks). After choosing the product category select the product you would like to order.
3.5 On the product data sheet:
3.5.1 FIRST SELECT THE REQUIRED SIZE FROM THE DROP-DOWN LIST, THEN PUT TOGETHER YOUR UNIQUE ITEM OF JEWELRY FROM THE COMPONENTS IN THE PENNANT SYMBOLS. THE MESSAGE CAN BE A MONOGRAM, A NAME, A YEAR, OR ONE OF YOUR FAVORITE WORDS BUT YOU CAN ALSO CREATE YOUR OWN JEWELRY FROM THE PATTERNS AND COLORS THAT YOU LIKE THE MOST.
3.5.2 YOU CAN ADD THE SYMBOLS YOU CHOOSE BY CLICKING ON THE "ADD TO BASKET" BUTTON UNDERNEATH THEM
3.5.3 THE JEWELRY THAT HAS BEEN FORMED CAN BE PREVIEWED IN THE "CUSTOMIZED JEWELRY CREATION" SECTION. THE COMPONENTS HERE CAN BE REPLACED AS YOU WISH.
3.5.4 WHEN ASSEMBLY HAS BEEN COMPLETED, CLICK ON THE "JEWELRY COMPLETION" BUTTON, AND YOUR SAILING JEWELRY IS NOW READY.
3.5.5 IF YOU WANT TO ORDER  ZAFFERANO SAILBOAT CUFFLINKS, RATHER THAN FOLLOWING THE ABOVE STEPS (3.5.1 - 3.5.4) YOU CAN SELECT WHICH COLORS YOU WISH THE ORDERED PRODUCT TO HAVE IN THE "SELECTABLE COLORS" SECTION, AND AFTER SELECTION PLEASE CLICK ON THE "ADD TO BASKET" BUTTON.
3.6 After the completion of the jewelry, the system directs you into your virtual shopping cart, where you can view the list of jewelry that you have created. This page gives you the opportunity to remove an item or items of jewelry.
3.7 To continue the order, click on the "payment" button
3.8 Here you can give your billing information and the shipping address. You can choose the means of payment, and in the "other comments" field you can give other information connected with the order. To carry on, click on the "continue" button.
3.9 On the next page, you can check your order for the last time. To complete the order, click on the "submit order" button.
3.10 Thank you for your order. We will inform you by e mail about the time when the jewelry is expected to be ready.

4. METHODS OF PAYMENT

At your request we will send you a pro forma invoice by email. It is important that you enter the order identification number in the transfer comments field.  Please make the transfer to the following bank account:

5. CORRESPONDENCE, OPINIONS, COMPLAINTS

Our goal is the success of the operation and services provided by the web shop. 6. GUARANTEE, WARRANTY

In accordance with valid regulations we guarantee our products. Precise details of  the length of time covered by the guarantee and its content can be read on the certificate of guarantee and the invoice.  The duration of the guarantee is one year, starting from the day of delivery of goods.
Alongside the guarantee, the warranty rights provided by law are naturally available.
7. PASSING ON OF RISK OF DAMAGE
Possible risk of damage to goods bought in the web shop is passed on to the Customer
This also applies in cases when the Customer is late to receive goods.
